School Reports & Assessment
A written report is issued at the end of every term. Earlier in each term, Parent Consultation meetings are held so that all parents can make appointments to meet class teachers. Assessment takes place on three levels; firstly teachers are assessing progress on a daily basis through the class work set and setting regular tests and assessments based upon class work. Secondly, the school participates in National Foundation for Education Research (NFER) assessment tests in English, Maths and Verbal Reasoning, which are long established standardized tests for assessing attainment and progress on a national UK basis. Thirdly, the school participates in international ACER standardized testing, which assesses participating children in the UK with those from a wide sample of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development nations (OECD) worldwide.
